Interim Risk Analyst

We are supporting a lean and international commodities business with the appointment of anInterim Risk Analystto support their market risk and reporting framework during a transition period.This is a hands-on role within a small Swiss-based team, offering broad exposure across commodity price risk, FX risk and counterparty monitoring.Interim Risk AnalystResponsabilitiesYou will support the Risk Lead and wider commercial team by:Preparing and maintainingcommodity price risk reportsMonitoringFX exposure and hedge positionsSupportingcounterparty risk reporting and limit monitoringAnalysing variances and identifying material movements in exposureInvestigating discrepancies and escalating findings appropriatelySupporting the enhancement and automation of risk reporting toolsContributing to process improvements across the risk frameworkThis role requires someone who does more than produce reports, as you will need a strong analytical mindset and the ability to interpret and challenge data.Requirements3-6+ years' experience incommodity risk, market risk or middle officeExperience working withhedging instruments(futures, forwards, etc.)Exposure tocommodity trading environments(agri, energy, metals or softs)Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and investigate variancesAdvanced Excel skills; exposure to ERP or trading/risk systems advantageousComfortable working in a small, hands-on structureAvailable to start within short notice
