Quality Specialist
Role Overview
The Quality Lead is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving the Otis Switzerland Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001, Otis's standards, and OPXL requirements.
The role plays a key part in driving quality excellence across the organization, supporting the field organization, and strengthening a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Objectives
•
Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001 and Otis global standards
•
Ensure Otis Switzerland achieves and sustains the expected performance level against OPXL standards
•
Support the field organization in the execution and completion of PUI (Product / Process Quality Improvement) activities
•
Contribute to increased customer satisfaction through structured quality processes and continuous improvement initiatives
Responsibilities
•
To implement and maintain the Quality Management System based on standard ISO 9001 and Directives which apply
•
To support other departments to reach customer satisfaction – supporting customer complaint and customer survey process
•
To manage the action plans and the documentation of the system of management including Quality
•
To promote the culture of continuous improvement in compliance with OPXL
•
To manage the use of OPXL tools such as MFA (Market Feedback Analysis), 5S…
•
To train people on ISO and OPXL requirements
•
To prepare and participate to periodical internal and external ISO audits
•
To present the results to the Executive Committee, propose and implement corrective actions
•
Supporting the OTIS Switzerland organization for the field quality PUI process
Experience & Requirements
•
Ability to work autonomously while demonstrating a strong team-oriented mindset
•
Customer-focused mindset with a proactive, supportive attitude toward business needs
•
Ability to train and communicate effectively on Quality and OPXL topics in German and French (mandatory)
•
Other national languages (Italian) and English are an advantage
