What you’ll do
You will join a team working on advanced cryogenic cooling and measurement techniques and play a key role in the daily operation of the Cryolab, a unique research facility with test stands operating at temperatures down to 50 mK. You will focus on the development, operation and technical follow-up of these installations in close collaboration with users and colleagues.
Your responsibilities

Contribute to the development of the operational principles of cryogenic test stands based on user needs and technical requirements.

Work with the team to translate these principles into thermodynamic and mechanical design solutions.

Coordinate the production of these test stands, following the agreed timeline and budget constraints.

Plan and organise the Cryolab activities according to operational priorities, available personnel and liquid helium supply.

Experience in cryogenics systems.

Background in the design, construction follow-up and commissioning of complex mechanical installations.

Parcours professionnel in preparing technical documentation, operating procedures and test records.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in the field of Mechanics, Electromechanics, Instrumentation or a related field.

Knowledge and application of cryogenic fluid and material properties.

Knowledge and application of cryogenic heat transfer and insulation techniques.

Operation and maintenance of cryogenic systems.

Knowledge of low temperature instrumentation and measurement techniques.

30 days of paid leave per year plus 2 weeks annual closure.
