Combining strategic thinking with hands-on creation, you drive quality, consistency and impact while advancing how we work with brand, content and AI.\nKey responsibilities\nShape and strengthen the Basel Area brand, ensuring a consistent and compelling presence across Basel Area and endorsed brands\nDevelop and evolve our overarching content strategy, translating business priorities into relevant themes, narratives and content plans together with our Marketing Managers\nTurn complex topics into compelling stories and create high-impact content hands-on across channels, while guiding and supporting colleagues in developing their own content\nOrchestrate content across our channels, ensuring a coherent editorial approach across website, social media, newsletters and other relevant touchpoints\nUse data and insights to continuously improve content and channel performance, working closely with our Digital Marketing Manager\nShape how we work with content and AI, developing our future content and channel setup and ways of working, while driving shared standards, tools and capabilities and advancing the use of AI across content creation and workflows\nCollaborate closely across the organisation, particularly with your marketing peers and business leads, and manage external partners where needed\nYour profile and experience\nDegree in marketing, communications, journalism or a related field\n5+ years of experience in brand and content marketing, ideally in a B2B environment, combining strategy with hands-on content creation\nExperience in economic development, location marketing, innovation, life sciences, healthcare or related B2B environments is a big plus\nSolid expertise in brand management, content strategy and storytelling, with the ability to translate complex topics into compelling narratives\nExcellent writing and editing skills in English and German, with a strong sense for tone of voice, messaging, editorial quality and audience relevance\nStrong digital content understanding across web, social media, newsletters and SEO, using data to optimize performance\nHigh affinity for AI and practical experience using AI tools for content creation and marketing workflows, with the ability to identify and advance relevant use cases across the marketing team\nStrategic and analytical thinking paired with a pragmatic, hands-on approach and process development skills\nExcellent collaboration and influencing skills across teams, stakeholders and external partners\nOur offer\nYou will join a young, international team of 50+ experts from over 10 nationalities, working across three locations at the heart of Europe’s most concentrated innovationecosystem.
