    "description": "Mevelin AG recrute un(e) General Counsel a Basel.\n\nGeneral Counsel 100% (Canton Basel)\nOn behalf of our client, global event company with entities in multiple countries, we are looking for an experienced, motivated and dynamic professional for a position located in the canton Basel, Switzerland as:\nYour Responsibilities:\n•\nResponsible for advising the CEO and Senior Executive Team on all legal and commercial matters affecting the Company’s reputation, risk, and strategy\n•\nResponsible for working closely with the Senior Executive Team on corporate and commercial strategy, including business and corporate development initiatives\n•\nResponsible for supporting the development of the global strategy and its implementation in commercial transactions\n•\nResponsible for leading and supporting major transactions and negotiations, including M&A, partnerships, and similar matters\n•\nStructure deals and guide execution for new business/corporate development.\n•\nLead and manage board and corporate approval processes\n•\nProvide legal support for fair operations (e.g. content, infrastructure, etc)\n•\nEmbed the Company’s Group governance & compliance best practice across the business\n•\nBuild and implement legal tools and processes for Company operations.\n•\nAlign legal and risk requirements & outcomes across the Company’s value chain (galleries, visitors/VIP’s, partnerships, operations)\n•\nStandardise and professionalise the Company’s legal outputs (eg visitor rules, exhibition regs, online terms)\n•\nProvide legal support to the HR team, including employment and organisational matters.\n•\nManage and resolve commercial disputes\n•\nLiaise and align with the Company Group’s legal, risk, finance and tax functions as required\n•\nLiaise with the Company Group’s Board of Directors as required\n•\nResponsible for the instruction of external counsel and the management of the Company’s legal budget.\nYour Profile:\n•\nLaw degree with a strong focus on international law is required\n•\nAdditional academic qualifications or continuing education in business, or management is required\n•\nAt least 20 years of senior-level professional experience in the event, entertainment media industry, with a deep understanding of media, cultural and digital business models, including technological developments, digital transformation and innovation\n•\nMin. 15 years of in-house experience in complex global organisations, including direct experience with businesses operating in Asia, Europe, the United States and the Middle East is required\n•\nAt least 10 years of proven experience in senior legal roles with primary responsibility for leading and executing complex international M&A transactions, including large?scale, cross?border deals with transaction values in the multi?billion range\n•\nAt least 10 years’ of deep expertise in IP law, ideally within the event/entertainment/media business\n•\nMinimum 10 years of experience at General Counsel level, including responsibility for managing, transforming and developing operating and organisational structures\n•\nStrong corporate and commercial law expertise across multiple jurisdictions, including leading complex deal negotiations, managing multiple stakeholders and supporting business/operating teams\n•\nProven track record in leading and managing multi-disciplinary project workstreams, including strategy, tax, finance, compliance/risk and operations\n•\nExtensive experience working with senior/board-level executives in global organisations, with the ability to positive influence decision?making at executive and board level in a constructive and credible manner\n•\nNative/business-level proficiency in English\n•\nAbility to work independently, manage novel structures and take responsibility for commercial risk\n•\nFlexibility to operate across multiple jurisdictions, including a willingness to travel regularly.\nIf you can identify yourself with the requirements of this challenging position, we look forward to receiving your application (English CV and certificates/diplomas).\nMevelin AG\nFrau Elena Budagaschwili\nCEO\n0414220505\n\nN'attendez pas -- envoyez votre candidature a Mevelin AG aujourd'hui.",
