The ideal candidate has a strong passion for design, technical curiosity, and a desire to grow in a collaborative and dynamic environment.\nFunction:\nJunior Industrial Designer\nJob Type:\nFull Time position\nReporting to:\nDesign Manager\nEducation:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Design or related fields\nLanguages:\nFluent English oral & written. German represents a plus.\nPersonal traits:\nWe are looking for someone with a structured and disciplined approach to work, coupled with strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, proactive in tackling challenges independently, and capable of managing their responsibilities with minimal supervision. Success in this role requires adaptability to shifting priorities, the ability to stay organized, and a collaborative spirit to contribute effectively within a small, fast-paced Design team.\nOther requirements:\nOnly Swiss residency will be considered\nKey Requirements:\nHighly skilled in 3D CAD applications (\nSolidWorks\n)\nExperienced in continuous CAD surfacing theory.\nKnowledge of other modelling software (\nRhino, Blender, etc...\n)\nKnowledge in\n2D design software\n(Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, etc)\nExperienced in rendering software (\nKeyshot\n)\nAbility to create prototypes with rapid prototyping tools\nFamiliarity with\n3D printing technologies\n: FDM, SLA, MultiJet/PolyJet, and SLS\nUnderstanding of traditional manufacturing processes (molding, machining, composite materials, etc.)\nStrong attention to detail, aesthetic sensibility, and technical accuracy.\nTeam player attitude, proactivity, and willingness to learn\nBasic skills in\nUX/UI and design thinking processes\n(nice to have)\nFamiliarity with\nFigma\nfor prototyping and digital interface support (nice to have)\nResponsibilities:\nInvolvement in full design process from initial design concept through to final product launch.\nSupport the team in product and component design, from concept to prototype\nCreate sketches, 3D models, and high-quality renderings\nCollaborate with engineering and production departments to turn concepts into feasible solutions\nContribute to research on materials, design trends, and innovation\nPrepare presentations and technical documentation for projects and clients\nTake ownership of projects and capability of working without close supervision\nInterested?\nPlease attach your CV and portfolio (PDF), highlighting your design projects and 3D modeling experience.
