    "description": "Rejoignez Swemco AG en tant que SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST a Zürich.\n\nABOUT SWEMCO AG\nSWEMCO AG\nis a Zurich-based family office focused on natural resources, with investments in different assets across Africa and the Middle East. The firm combines a long-term ownership perspective with a hands-on approach to operational and financial management across frontier-market jurisdictions.\nTHE ROLE\nWe are looking for a sharp, driven Senior Financial Analyst to join our small Zurich-based team. You will work directly with senior management and shareholders, owning financial models, supporting investment decisions, and providing rigorous analysis across the portfolio. The role involves regular travel to operating sites and partner locations in Africa, the Middle East, and the US.\nWHAT YOU WILL DO\n•\nBuild, maintain, and stress-test detailed financial models covering life-of-mine plans, project valuations, and portfolio scenarios.\n•\nPrepare investment analyses, business cases, and financial due diligence for new opportunities and ongoing investments.\n•\nMonitor portfolio performance: track actuals against budgets, flag variances, and produce clear management reporting.\n•\nSupport the structuring of project finance transactions, including debt sizing, cash flow modelling, and covenant analysis.\n•\nAnalyze the financial impact of regulatory changes, currency movements, and commodity price fluctuations across operating jurisdictions.\n•\nConduct research into developing-country fiscal regimes, currency controls, and investment frameworks relevant to existing and prospective investments.\n•\nPrepare materials for lenders, investors, and the Board, translating complex analysis into clear, decision-ready outputs.\n•\nTravel to operating sites and partner meetings as required to gather ground-level data and support local teams.\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR\nEssential\n•\n5–8 years of expertise in financial analysis, investment analysis, project finance, or a related field.\n•\nExceptional financial modelling skills - you build models from scratch and know every assumption in them.\n•\nExperience working with, or strong interest in, developing-country markets: currency risk, regulatory complexity, and frontier-market dynamics.\n•\nStrong analytical mindset: comfortable with ambiguous data, multiple scenarios, and fast-changing operating environments.\n•\nSolid understanding of core investment analysis metrics (IRR, NPV, MOIC, payback period) and their application in financial modelling and investment evaluation\n•\nWillingness to travel extensively, including to remote and challenging locations.\n•\nAdvantageous\n•\nBackground in natural resources, mining, energy, construction or infrastructure finance.\n•\nFamiliarity with project finance structures, DFI lending, and commodity-backed facilities.\n•\nKnowledge of regulatory and fiscal environments\n•\nKnowledge in English is essential, French is beneficial.\nWHAT WE OFFER\n•\nCompetitive compensation package with performance-linked bonus.\n•\nDirect exposure to senior decision-making in a lean, high-impact team.\n•\nA genuinely international role - no two weeks look the same.\n•\nThe opportunity to develop deep expertise in frontier-market resource finance.\n\nRejoignez Swemco AG et donnez un nouvel elan a votre carriere.",
