We're seeking an Associate Supply Chain Specialist to support material compliance activities within a highly regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment for a 12 month project with your client in the Lucerne region . This is an exciting opportunity for a supply chain professional who enjoys working cross-functionally, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement in quality-focused operations.



Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage supplier and material records within supplier qualification systems
  • Assess supplier- and site-driven material changes and coordinate quality change controls where required
  • Support supplier qualification activities and coordinate supplier audits for new vendors
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and service excellence
  • Develop material specifications and support material qualification processes
  • Coordinate material release schedules to ensure timely availability for production
  • Collaborate closely with Procurement, Quality, Manufacturing, and Technical Transfer teams on material selection and implementation
  • Ensure materials meet required quality standards and are available according to manufacturing timelines
  • Support investigations, risk assessments, change controls, and quality compliance activities
  • Contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain


Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
  • 3+ years of previous experience in supply chain, operations, quality, or compliance within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
  • Strong understanding of regulated manufacturing environments and GMP-related processes
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive and continuous improvement mindset
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent English, both written and spoken
  • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel; SAP knowledge is an advantage
