FIBA, with global headquarters in Mies/Vaud Switzerland, is the world governing body of basketball and an independent association formed by 212 National Basketball Federations throughout the world.FIBA has a truly global reach with five Regional Offices worldwide to support National Federations in their efforts to develop Basketball on the ground. FIBA is a non-profit organisation and recognised as the ultimate authority in basketball by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).We’re looking for anIT Information Systems Business Analyst Intern, for asix-month internship, in the World Headquarters in Mies/Vaud Switzerland, reporting directly to the IT Senior Manager in charge of FIBA Information Systems.Context:FIBA IT is responsible for operating differentInformation Systemsserving various populations of internal and external users and third-party systems. These systems are key for supporting basketball related processes (Competition, Licenses, Player Transfers…).What will you gain from this experience?During this internship, you will have the opportunity to:Discover how an Information Systems team operates within a truly international sports organization, gaining insights into IT processes and collaboration models. Build hands-on experience in project analysis, requirements gathering, specification, implementation, testing, and rollout of new Information Systems features used across FIBA. Develop solid professional foundations through a high quality experience in a renowned global environment, supported by senior IT and business professionals eager to help you grow.Key ResponsibilitiesCollect and analyse business requirements through discussions and workshops with key users.Draft functional specifications / user stories and ensure proper requirements traceability.Coordinate with developers to clarify needs, follow progress, and ensure alignment with expectations.Prepare and execute test cases & UAT, validating that delivered solutions meet business needs.Document system changes and produce user guides, procedures, and other IS documentation.Provide first‑level operational support (access management, ticket follow‑up, basic troubleshooting).Assist in the maintenance of Information Systems, ensuring smooth daily operations.Support project activities, including reporting, planning (e.g., sprint/release), and stakeholder coordination.Experience and skills requiredEagerness to learn about Information Systems, IT processes, and Business Analysis.Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a relevant field.Basic technical understanding of applications, with willingness to deepen knowledge.Analytical mindset with the ability to ask relevant questions and structure information clearly.Excellent communication skills in French and English (spoken and written) to enable effective interactions with users and technical teams.Organized and reliable, able to follow processes and manage simple tasks independently.Collaborative and proactive attitude, comfortable working in a team and seeking support when needed.You have an interest in sport and ideally basketball.Period: 6 months internship, starting between February and June 2026Swiss or EU nationality or eligible to Swiss working permit.Preference will be given to students who need to do an internship as part of their curriculum.Please send your CV with a cover letter in English to the attention of:Ms. Cynthia Peris, FIBA Senior HRBP Manager – via JOBCLOUD.CHWe will only consider and reply to the candidates who correspond to the profile.
