Business Data Analyst

The team Performance and Analytics management is in charge of data management, reports creation and analysis generation for the departments P&C retail.
In a moving and transforming operational context using various applications leading to multiple data flows generation,
we are searching for a dynamic and open-minded Business Data Analyst to reinforce the existing team (15 colleagues). After a short adaptation to the AXA environment, you will be part of the analysts being able to produce requirements, reports,
analyses and support other team members in the realisation of their objectives. You will notably be involved in SAS to Databricks migration projects, supporting the modernization of our data infrastructure while maintaining critical pricing processes.

As a
Business Data Analyst
, your responsibilities will be to:

Build and maintain a backlog with all the demands of our business client with focus on Pricing and Product management data needs.
*
Act as a bridge between business, data and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable solutions.
*
Analyse business requirements, perform impact assessments and document functional specifications.
*
Contribute to the implementation and validation of agreed solutions.
*
Guarantee KPI and data robustness;
*
Support SAS to Databricks migration initiatives by helping define business requirements, contributing to data validation activities and ensuring business continuity, in close collaboration with technical experts and developers.
*
Clearly document our process and reports to guarantee transversal understanding and correct usage of our clients;
*
Develop a good understanding of operational processes, applications and data flows in order to contribute to solution design, with the support of domain experts and solution architects.
Your
Profile
As a Business Data Analyst, you have:
*
A Master's degree or equivalent level through experience is considered an asset.
*
3 to 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst, preferably within an insurance environment;
*
Good understanding of data and application flows, with the ability to develop an end-to-end view of processes and systems over time, supported by the expertise of the team.
*
Experience working on cross-functional projects and acting as an interface between business, data, and IT teams.
*
Experience with data management and analytical tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI and at least some of the following technologies: SAS, Python, Databricks or equivalent modern data platforms. You do not need to be an expert in every technology mentioned. Curiosity, analytical skills and the ability to collaborate across teams are key success factors for this position.
*
Familiarity with GitHub or similar version control tools is an asset. The candidate should be interested in adopting collaborative development practices.
*
Knowledge of non-life insurance products, pricing processes, or related data environments is a strong asset. Candidates with experience in other data-driven business domains are also encouraged to apply.

Fluent in spoken and written French and English, with a B2 level in Dutch.
