Your Tasks
You contribute to building and refining the category strategy aligned with company 3?year financial objectives.
You own pre?season range planning and selection.
You partner with the Merchandise Planner to finalize top?down and bottom?up category targets, margin goals, OTB, and assortment architecture.
You conduct competitive analysis, market research, and consumer insight reviews.
You identify, select, and negotiate with brands and suppliers to secure competitive pricing, MOQs, terms, and exclusives.
You build strong vendor relationships via performance reviews and joint business planning.
You ensure product data accuracy, sample management, compliance, and quality standards.
You partner with vendors on marketing collaborations and new product introductions.
You ensure SKU productivity, category segmentation, and option counts are optimized.
You manage lifecycle planning including introductions, continuity, and end?of?life actions.
You set retail pricing and promotional frameworks in alignment with margin targets.
You partner with Planning on markdown strategies, reorders, and exit plans.
your profile
You have Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, or related field .
You have 3–5 years experience in Buying, preferably within a multi?brand retailer or department store .
You have strong financial understanding and vendor negotiation experience.
You have demonstrated ability to define and communicate a clear vision, inspiring teams and driving execution.
You have specific experience in the Swiss retail market.
You have a genuine passion for womenswear, with an eye for product, silhouette, fabric, and styling that elevates the overall assortment.
Language proficiency in English plus either German, French, or Italian.
