Do you want to shape finance and create real business impact? We are looking for an experienced and driven professional to join our team as Controlling & Finance Manager. In this pivotal role, you will take full ownership of controlling and finance processes related to base metals management, ensuring financial integrity, transparency, and compliance. You will act as a key partner to the business, leading critical accounting activities, strengthening internal controls, and supporting audit processes in a dynamic trading environment.
Your responsibilities
•
Lead and oversee all controlling and finance activities related to base metals management, including financial statement monitoring and analysis
•
Ensure accurate and compliant accounting treatment of all base metals transactions and positions
•
Manage and drive the month-end closing process in Zug, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger reviews
•
Oversee metals-related payments and receipts and ensure correct booking of all related accounting entries, applying strict four-eyes principle controls
•
Implement, maintain, and continuously improve internal control frameworks and compliance processes, ensuring proper segregation of duties across teams
•
Act as a key contact for internal and external audits related to base metals trading activities, ensuring transparency and readiness
Your profile
•
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business (focus on trading/investments preferred)
•
3–5 years of experience in finance or accounting
•
Strong knowledge of financial accounting and internal controls
•
Expertise with data, automation and visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Databricks)
•
Analytical, structured and comfortable working with complex data
•
Team-oriented, flexible and proactive with a growth mindset
•
Independent working style with entrepreneurial drive
•
Fluent in English; German is an advantage
