Do you enjoy working with numbers and do you want to create financial transparency that effectively supports management decisions? As a Cost Controlling Expert, you will play a central role in our team: you will be responsible for planning, budgeting and forecasting processes, provide key figures to Senior Management, and drive the proactive management of costs at Generali Switzerland. This position is offered on a fixed-term basis and is scheduled to end on 31 January 2027.

What to expect
You are responsible for the operational activities of the cost controlling processes, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis and cost allocation, as well as the timely provision of relevant key figures to various stakeholders (CFO, Executive Committee and Generali Head Office)
You are responsible for cost in the areas of IT, technology & operations, as well as project costs of Generali Switzerland, working in close collaboration with the business and the project portfolio management team
You stabilize and optimize existing structures, processes and data flows in cost controlling, for example the regular forecasting process
You support the development and operational implementation of processes for the proactive cost management of Generali Switzerland
You handle ad hoc management requests and analyses related to costs
The skills you'll bring
You have a university or university of applied sciences degree in business, economics, or a similar field
You bring at least five years of professional experience in controlling; specific experience in cost controlling and/or in the insurance industry is an advantage
You have strong analytical and conceptual skills
You have a strong can-do attitude and are motivated to actively shape the future of cost controlling at Generali Switzerland
You communicate professionally with stakeholders of all levels in English. German proficiency is an advantage
You have good knowledge of SAP FI/CO and SAP BW
