Your responsibilities
In this challenging global senior position, you will be given a dual mandate. While you deputize the Head of Risk Control for Switzerland and DIFC branches, you assume direct responsibility for managing the operational risks in Switzerland. As second-in- command of the local Risk Control unit, you support the strategic development of the overall group risk function, including cross-risk alignment, and represent your superior in internal committees, governance forums, and regulatory interactions. As a subject matter expert for operational risk management, you maintain and enhance the local Operational Risk Management Framework in coherence with FINMA requirements and internal policies. The identification, assessment and monitoring of operational risks are crucial to secure business continuity and operation resilience at Head Office. You will be working closely with group functions (Risk, Compliance, IT, Operations) to ensure a holistic view of risks.
Your identity

You have earned a university degree in Finance, Economics or Risk Management, enlarged by specific designations such as FRM or PRM. You are deeply familiar with operational risk frameworks (RCSA, KRI etc.) within the Swiss regulatory environment but have also been exposed to multi-jurisdictional and/or group level systems. You have excellent communication and influencing skills with senior management, regulators, and cross-functional teams. You are used to manage dual reporting lines and conflicting priorities in a matrix organisation and perform efficiently under pressure such as crisis or disruption situations.
