Director Portfolio & Strategy - Animal & Human Health

Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the global segment strategy in the field of Animal & Human Health, driving growth through market insights, portfolio optimization, and targeted commercial initiatives.
Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and future trends to shape strategic offerings, product portfolio development, and innovation priorities.
Manage and optimize the product portfolio throughout its lifecycle, ensuring strong market positioning, profitability, and competitive differentiation.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, Business Development, and Marketing to align strategies, improve market performance, and support key customer opportunities.
Partner with Product Management and Research & Development Services to prioritize development initiatives
Analyze market, customer, and business data to generate actionable insights, define growth targets, and monitor segment performance through dashboards and reporting.
Requirements
Master's degree in Economics, Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in strategic marketing, business development, portfolio management, or segment management, ideally within Life Science, Animal Health, Human Health, or related industries.
Strong understanding of global markets, market analysis, portfolio management, and business strategy, combined with an entrepreneurial and growth-oriented mindset.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with experience translating market insights into commercial success.
Proficiency in English; additional languages, particularly German, are an advantage.
Willingness to travel internationally up to 40%.
