As the only European manufacturer of both power and energy lithium-ion battery cells, Leclanché provides the most effective energy storage solutions for electric vehicles, industrial, marine, grid and microgrid applications.Our world leading in-house technologies and ownership of the full value chain from electrochemistry to energy management software, make us unique and a partner of choice for customers who require smarter and faster energy storage solutions.To support our organisation we are looking for our offices in Yverdon-les-Bains for an:Electronic Quality Assurance EngineerPurpose:Ensure the quality and compliance of electronic system development activities by supporting the definition, implementation, and continuous improvement of development and validation processes.Play a key role in enabling robust, safe, and secure electronic systems by supporting engineering teams in meeting internal standards and external regulations across hardware, software, and system development.This role offers the opportunity to work at the interface of hardware, software, and system engineering, contributing directly to product quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.Role & Responsibilities:Electronic System Quality Assurance & ValidationSupport quality assurance activities across software, hardware, and system levels, including development workflows, traceability, integration consistency, and technical validation approaches.Execute validation activities to ensurerobust and reliable system performanceaccording to applicable safety and quality standards.Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and cybersecurity requirements.Development Process SupportContribute to the definition, maintenance, and improvement of electronic development processes and documentation.Support alignment of development processes with quality, safety, and cybersecurity requirements.Monitor the development lifecycle and proactively identify non-conformities and improvement opportunities.Contribute to project milestone reviews and deliverable quality checks.Collaboration & Continuous ImprovementSupport cross-functional quality, safety, and cybersecurity activities.Collaborate with hardware, software, and system engineering teams.Participate in knowledge sharing, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.Contribute to best practices and lessons learned.Other ActivitiesResponsible for performing other duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.Skills & Experience:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related technical field3–5 years of experience in electronic system development, quality assurance, or validation activitiesInitial experience in quality processes within industrial or safety-related environments is a plusExposure to audits, non-conformity management, or compliance activities is beneficialExperience working in cross-functional engineering teamsUnderstanding of electronic product development lifecycle and quality assurance methodsExperience in validation and verification processes for Hardware and Software systemsKnowledge of relevant standards such as EN 5012x or ISO 26262 (Functional Safety), ASPICE, ISO 9001, and ISO/SAE 21434 (Cybersecurity)Key Competencies:Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with focus on risk identification and process improvementSolid understanding of quality systems, functional safety, and cybersecurity standardsProven ability to lead cross-functional quality activities and promote a culture of compliance and excellenceEffective communicator, able to influence and align diverse engineering teamsStructured, autonomous, and result-oriented with high attention to detailCommitted to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across projectsLanguages:French and English very good spoken and written.Other European language would be a plus.Other:Availability for occasional business travel (up to 10%).We offer an interesting job in an international company, dynamic and collaborative working environment, possibility to work on innovative projects and continuous professional growth.Passion for work, initiative and adaptability, impact and influence, innovation and decisiveness are the key attributes we are looking for.If you are Swiss or EU citizen, or hold a valid work permit, please apply and send your full application only in English.
