Embedded Matlab/Simulink Developer - HVAC Application (80-100%)
Summary
In this role, you will own designated library topics, collaborate with architects and requirements engineers, and develop robust, maintainable solutions in a Matlab/Simulink environment. Your expertise will contribute to the quality, reliability, and scalability of a platform used across multiple products.
What You'll Do
Develop and maintain assigned HVAC library components, ensuring high quality, reliability, and scalability.
Collaborate with architects and requirements engineers to understand, refine, and clarify technical requirements.
Design structured and maintainable solutions in Matlab/Simulink aligned with system and architectural requirements.
Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to developers during implementation.
Participate in and contribute to code reviews, ensuring compliance with quality standards and design specifications.
Ensure adherence to architectural principles, coding guidelines, and software development best practices.
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues while continuously improving performance and maintainability.
Document designs, technical decisions, and lessons learned to support knowledge sharing and long-term sustainability.
Who You Are
BSc or MSc in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Control Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Several years of experience in embedded and model-based software development using Matlab/Simulink.
Experience in control systems, device logic, or similar engineering software applications.
Strong understanding of software design principles, code reviews, and maintainable software architectures.
Experience working in cross-functional engineering teams and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
Ability to translate requirements into practical, scalable technical solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a quality-focused mindset.
Fluent English language skills; German is considered an advantage.
