Elegant gala dinners, exclusive weddings, high-profile business events and bespoke celebrations - across two of the most distinguished houses in Switzerland. As Events Planning Manager, you guide the entire planning journey from proposal through to operational handover, ensuring that every event is accurately planned, efficiently coordinated and flawlessly executed at both the Kulm Hotel St. Moritz and the Grand Hotel Kronenhof Pontresina.
Your Mission:
End-to-End Event Planning:
From the qualified enquiry through proposal and contract to the operational handover - including accommodation, meeting rooms, catering, technical requirements and personal guest preferences.
Client Experience:
You guide your clients through every stage of the planning process: briefings, site inspections, amendments and professional follow-up - always prompt, polished and personalised.
Administrative Excellence:
Preparation of contracts, confirmations, function sheets and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), maintenance of all event files in PMS and CRM, and monitoring of deposits and payment schedules.
Operational Interface:
You lead the internal event planning meetings and liaise closely with Banqueting, Kitchen, Rooms Division, Reservations, Revenue Management and Front Office across both hotels.
Leadership & Development:
You lead and coach our Events Coordinator(s) day to day, set priorities and establish shared planning standards, templates and processes.
Room to Shape:
You play an active part in building the new integrated Events organisation of the Kulm Group and develop best practices for both hotels.
This is you
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Events Management or Business Administration and at least three years of experience in hotel events, conference services or event planning, ideally covering meetings, incentives, weddings and private celebrations in the luxury segment.
Organisational Talent:
Outstanding attention to detail, a sure instinct for priorities and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously with composure.
Process & Systems Knowledge:
Confident command of PMS, CRM and event management systems, along with excellent Microsoft Office 365 skills.
Personality:
Dependable, solution-oriented and calm under pressure; you build lasting relationships with clients and with every operational department.
Language Skills:
Fluent and stylistically assured German and English, written and spoken; further languages are a plus.
Start: October or by agreement.
