About the Role and Your Responsibilities</h3> <p>
Are you a specialist in low?voltage circuit breakers and looking to apply your skills in Western Switzerland?
As a Field Service Technician at ABB, you will perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on modern circuit breakers, ensuring the reliable operation of our customers’ critical infrastructure.
You work directly on-site and build long-term customer relationships.</p> <p> <strong>

Your Main Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li> <strong>
Maintenance &amp;
Inspection:</strong>
Perform maintenance, inspection, and repair work on low-voltage circuit breakers.</li> <li> <strong>
Fault Analysis &amp;
Troubleshooting:</strong>
Diagnose issues and resolve equipment failures.</li> <li> <strong>
Customer Interaction:</strong>
Advise and communicate with customers on-site, prepare documentation and reports.</li> <li> <strong>
Quality Assurance:</strong>
Ensure compliance with the highest quality and safety standards.</li> <li> <strong>
Documentation:</strong>
Create service reports and technical documents.</li> <li> <strong>
Teamwork:</strong>
Collaborate with internal teams and share best practices.</li> <li> <strong>
Customer Support:</strong>
Analyze customer needs and identify business opportunities.</li> </ul> <h3>
Your Profile</h3> <ul> <li>
Completed training as an electrician, electrical installer, or equivalent qualification.</li> <li>
Several years of experience in maintenance and servicing of circuit breakers, with solid knowledge of low-voltage technology and electrical engineering.</li> <li>
Fluent in French; good English skills;
German is an advantage.</li> <li>
Category B driver’s license and willingness to travel within Western Switzerland.</li> <li>
Self-motivated, structured, and solution-oriented working style, combined with teamwork and effective communication skills.</li> <li>
Experience in customer consulting and building customer relationships.</li> <li>
Knowledge in preventing and optimizing system failures.</li> <li> <strong>
Considered as an advantage:</strong> </li> <li>
Extensive experience with ABB circuit breakers, especially:
Emax 2.2 – 2.6, Emax X1, New Emax, T?
Max series.</li> <li>
Certifications and training on ABB products.</li> </ul> <h3>
