Software Developer – Secure Systems & Backend Engineering
Location: Baar, Switzerland | On-site | Security Clearance Required
At Asperiq, we build secure communication systems designed to protect sensitive data in critical environments. Now, we’re looking for a backend-oriented software developer to join our cross-functional team and help shape the next generation of our IP-VPN solution—built with Go, powered by event sourcing, and infused with cryptography.
You’ll work at the intersection of system-level programming, secure communication, and modern backend development. If you enjoy solving hard problems with a curious and methodical mindset, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll join our core development team and work on both our current platform and future cryptographic products. Your responsibilities will include:
•
Building the backbone of our IP-VPN platform using Go and NATS Jetstream.
•
Implementing messaging pipelines using MQTT or similar technologies.
•
Applying event sourcing principles to ensure traceability and auditability in critical systems.
•
Contributing to our web interface, primarily focusing on backend integration (React + Mantine).
•
Participating in agile team rituals like stand-ups and planning meetings, and being actively involved in technical decision-making.
•
Writing and maintaining automated unit and integration tests using Jenkins for continuous improvement.
•
Collaborating across disciplines—from embedded hardware engineers to product managers—to deliver robust and secure solutions.
What we’re looking for
Required experience:
•
3+ years as a backend developer (ideally in a product company)
•
Proficiency in Go (Golang)
•
Hands-on background with NATS Jetstream and MQTT (or similar messaging systems)
Additional skills we appreciate:
•
Parcours professionnel with event sourcing
•
Familiarity with React and Mantine (for frontend-facing integration work)
•
Knowledge of Gerrit, GitLab, and Jenkins
•
Confidence working in Linux environments (Yocto experience is a plus)
•
Background with embedded development
•
Understanding of networking principles and system-level architecture
•
Extra points for having Php background
