Global Mobility Advisor 80-100% (m/w/d)
Position Overview
Location: Rümlang
The Global Mobility Advisor is responsible for managing and coordinating international employee mobility programs, ensuring a compliant, efficient, and positive experience for employees and the business. The role provides expert guidance on cross-border employment matters, oversees mobility policies and vendor relationships, and supports stakeholders with international assignments, transfers, and relocations. Working closely with HR, Rewards, Legal, and external partners, the Advisor ensures alignment with business objectives while maintaining compliance with global regulatory requirements.
What you will do
Manage and continuously improve global mobility policies, including international assignments, transfers, and cross-border employment.
Act as the main contact for HR and business stakeholders on international employment and mobility matters.
Coordinate end-to-end mobility cases and ensure a positive employee experience while maintaining compliance.
Manage external mobility vendors and ensure high-quality service delivery for immigration, relocation, tax, and related services.
Provide guidance and training on global mobility policies, processes, and compliance requirements.
Monitor changes in international employment regulations and support the implementation of necessary updates.
Partner with HR, Rewards, Legal, Finance, and business leaders to support global workforce mobility initiatives.
Analyze mobility programs and processes to identify opportunities for improvement, efficiency, and an enhanced employee experience.
What we require
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; international tax knowledge is an advantage.
10+ years of experience in International HR and/or Rewards within a multinational environment, including 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Global Mobility. Experience managing international assignments, relocations, immigration, and mobility-related programs is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of global mobility practices, including international assignments, tax equalization, localization, permanent transfers, and international hiring.
Proven expertise in policy analysis and design, mobility program administration, vendor management, and stakeholder communication.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to advise and guide stakeholders across diverse cultures and organizational levels.
Customer-focused, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset, with strong business acumen and project management capabilities.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel (data analysis, formulas, Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint.
Business fluency in English and solid German communication skills, with the ability to understand and effectively interact with stakeholders in both local and international environments.
