Key Tasks:
Manufacturing Controlling
Support accurate inventory valuation, ensuring that stock is properly recorded and valued
Perform variance analysis (actual vs. standard costs) and support explanation of key differences
Assist in maintaining standard costs and ensuring they reflect operational reality
Prepare and maintain manufacturing cost reporting, including component-level analysis
Planning & Budgeting
Support the annual budgeting process in collaboration with Finance and operational teams
Help analyze variances between actual results, budget, and forecast
Project Controlling
Track project costs, budgets, and forecasts
Assist in financial planning activities related to projects
Support the identification of opportunities to improve and automate processes
Audit & Compliance
Support internal and external audit processes
Contribute to inventory depreciation and warranty provision assessments
Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Controlling
2–5 years of experience in controlling or finance, ideally in a manufacturing environment
Initial experience with Bills of Materials (BOMs) and standard costing methodologies is a strong advantage
Strong analytical skills; experience with financial analysis or modeling is a plus
Experience with ERP systems (experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a strong advantage) and reporting tools
Fluency in English required; German is an advantage
Core Competencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of manufacturing environments and cost structures (e.g. BOMs, standard costs is a plus)
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with production, sourcing, and finance teams
Structured and detail-oriented way of working
Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and contribute to process improvements
Good communication skills, with the ability to explain financial topics to non-finance stakeholders
