Legal Counsel

We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our fast-growing client, in the Financial Services sector in ZurichLegal CounselAbout the Role:Support the execution of legal, compliance, and regulatory strategy under senior leadershipAssist with regulatory licensing applications, filings, and ongoing entity administrationMaintain internal legal records, contract repositories, and risk/risk-register documentationSupport compliance and regulatory matters across multiple jurisdictionsAct as compliance officer for regulated entities (where required)Work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations to support compliant product launchesDraft, review, and support negotiation of:NDAsCommercial contractsPartnership agreementsService provider agreementsFund-related documentation (e.g., administration agreements, IMAs, side letters, etc.)Support corporate governance processes, including:Board resolutionsCorporate secretarial workGovernance documentationAssist with employment documentation (offer letters, contractor agreements)Support basic intellectual property matters under supervisionContribute to improving legal templates, playbooks, and internal legal processesSupport data privacy and security compliance efforts (including GDPR)About the Candidate:Qualified lawyer with 3-5+ years of experienceStrong experience in financial regulation and cross-border licensing (e.g., AIFMD, MiFID, or equivalent)Familiarity with investment products, fund structures, and product designStrong working understanding of corporate lawComfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments with evolving regulatory requirementsProactive, hands-on, and solutions-driven with strong integrity and accountabilityStrong drafting skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple prioritiesConfident working cross-functionally with non-legal teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing, Operations)Nice to have:Mix of private practice and in-house experienceExperience in fintech, digital assets, tokenized finance, or innovative financial productsExposure to compliance operations and/or data privacy (including GDPR)Able to share real examples of regulatory work or complex legal challenges handled in practice
