Legal Entity Controller Switzerland

This position is part of the Essential Products Business (EssCo) within Animal Nutrition & Health (ANH). This is one of the two standalone entities to be created from ANH, as part of the divestment to CVC Capital.
For our Finance function, we are looking for an experienced
Legal Entity Controller Switzerland
based in Kaiseraugst, Switzerland.
As our successful Legal Entity Controller, you will ensure the delivery and execution of finance planning, actuals, closing, reporting, compliance, and financial governance activities for the Swiss Principal Legal Entity. In addition, you will provide oversight and leadership to Commercial Legal Entity Controllers across EssCo locations globally.
Your key responsibilities:

Own full financial responsibility for the Swiss Principal Legal Entity, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and financial integrity.

Responsible for balance sheet management, reconciliations, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of group and statutory financial statements.
•
Ensure agreed services with Financial Shared Services and external service providers are delivered to the required quality and performance standards.
•
Provide guidance and oversight on complex accounting matters, journal entries, provisions, accruals, and period-end closing activities.
•
Lead and coordinate the Commercial Legal Entity Controlling function globally, driving standardization, governance, continuous improvement, and capability development across legal entities.
•
Provide evidence for the Internal Control Framework and drive the timely remediation of control deficiencies and audit findings.
•
Partner closely with Finance Business Partners, Tax, Treasury, Shared Services, external auditors, and regulatory authorities to ensure effective financial governance.

You Bring
•
8+ years of experience in Legal Entity Controlling, Accounting, Audit, or Finance leadership roles within multinational organizations.
•
Proven leadership experience managing international finance teams and influencing senior stakeholders across complex organizations.
•
Strong expertise in IFRS, statutory reporting, internal controls, legal entity governance, and multi-jurisdiction compliance.
•
Experience in principal business models, intercompany environments, and finance transformation initiatives, including carve-outs and integrations.
•
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, Swiss CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
•
Strong SAP and financial systems knowledge, combined with excellent communication skills in English and German.
