In this role, you help multinational clients transform record-to-report, financial close and group reporting processes. You contribute to KPMG's finance transformation offering by delivering modern, technology-enabled close and consolidation solutions together with a specialized team.

Manager / Senior Manager – Record-to-Report & Fast Close
Your contribution to KPMG

Drive business development by actively sourcing and following up on client opportunities and leading go-to-market initiatives

Guide clients in designing, optimizing and standardizing record-to-report and financial close processes, including close calendars, governance and controls

Lead project teams to design end-to-end accounting, group reporting, consolidation and close workflows

Manage experienced teams implementing finance transformation and close acceleration solutions

Advise clients on target operating models for finance, including roles, responsibilities and process ownership

Strengthen and maintain collaboration with key technology providers in ERP / EPM / Fast Close

Lead client discussions on fast close, accounting efficiency, close quality and enabling technologies

Coach and develop team members in record-to-report and close excellence topics
This is what makes you successful

Master's degree in economics, finance, accounting or (business) informatics, or a comparable qualification. CPA or equivalent considered a strong plus

Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance consulting or audit / advisory, with a strong focus on record-to-report, financial close or group reporting

Deep knowledge of accounting, consolidation and close processes in a multinational environment

Proven background in finance transformation initiatives and process optimization

Strong interest in finance systems, automation and technology-enabled close acceleration

Tech savvy, experience working with ERP, consolidation or close management tools is a strong advantage

Excellent communication skills and confidence in senior client discussions

Fluent in English; German and/or French is a strong plus
