Genesupport SA is a laboratory specialized in genetic analyses for physicians and patients in Switzerland and is part of the Sonic Suisse network, a member of the international Sonic Healthcare Group.For our commercial team in Plan-les-Ouates, we are looking for anNGS Sales Manager - 100%to develop and manage commercial activities related to our sequencing services in the Life Sciences sector.The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of sequencing technologies (NGS: Illumina, Ion Torrent, PacBio, Element, and Sanger), as well as a strong motivation for prospecting and building long-term client relationships.He/She will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding our client base, and promoting our NGS portfolio to academic institutions, biotech companies, and pharmaceutical clients.Position details :Full-time position (CDI / permanent contract), based in Plan-les-Ouates, GenevaStart date: immediately or to be agreed uponSkills and qualifications:To strengthen our sales team, we are looking for a motivated, proactive, and self-driven team player with a scientific background who is eager to develop in sales and business developmentScientific background with experience in NGS sequencing (short- and long-read technologies), either in wet lab or bioinformaticsAdditional education or experience in sales, business development, or economics is a plusAbility to understand client needs and provide fast, accurate, and appropriate responsesStrong communication skills and a genuine interest in interacting with clients, advising them, and promoting our servicesLanguages: French and English required; German is an assetKnowledge of business, project, and data management tools (Salesforce, Power BI, Asana, Abacus, etc.) is a plus.Responsibilities:Identify and acquire new clients in the NGS field in line with the company’s strategic planManage and develop existing accounts in Switzerland and internationallyUp to 20% field-based work (Switzerland and abroad), including prospecting, client visits, and participation in conferencesAct as a single point of contact for key clients, ensuring efficient handling of requests and delivering a high level of serviceCollaborate closely with internal departments (production, bioinformatics, innovation, marketing, accounting)Monitor market trends and propose internal innovation and improvement initiativesEnvironment:Cutting-edge company providing high-throughput sequencing and bioinformatics services to medical laboratories, researchers worldwide, as well as biotech and pharmaceutical companiesYoung and dynamic teams, highly skilled and committed to delivering excellencePart of the Sonic Suisse network of medical laboratoriesOne day of remote work per weekOpportunities for professional developmentApplicationWe invite you to send your complete application by email toMelissa Berto,PhD,Sales Team Leader & Study Manager – Life Sciences:Write an email
