An opportunity has arisen to join Deloitte Switzerland’s Office of the General Counsel, which will involve working very closely with other lawyers and various business stakeholders. You will work as part of a growing and experienced team with opportunities to engage with senior staff across all functions of Deloitte.
How you can make an impact

Support with a view to leading negotiations for complex consulting and technology-based contracts, including regularly facing off with client legal teams and their external counsels.

Develop commercial and pragmatic solutions based on legal risks identified.

Advise on a wide range of legal topics in an international environment and on potential risks and challenges in relation to opportunities and engagements as they arise.

Provide legal support on domestic and cross-border projects.

Being an active part of a diverse team with an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution.
Who we are looking for

Master’s degree in law and admission to the Swiss bar.

Proven post bar parcours professionnel in negotiating complex commercial and technology contracts.

Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and German. Other languages such as French and Italian are a plus.

Strong negotiation, organizational, analytical and research skills.

Ability to manage a demanding workload effectively, being responsive and meeting tight deadlines.

Capacity to quickly adapt to a large and complex structure with varying demands and to prioritize efficiently while working on numerous projects simultaneously.

Experience of dealing with and managing senior and multiple stakeholders.

The Office of the General Counsel is responsible for managing Deloitte’s legal affairs as they relate to contract reviews and negotiations, labour law, litigation, regulatory matters, legal risks and other legal areas.  As a team member of the Office of the General Counsel, you will make an impact that matters.
