What you will do

• You underwrite parametric insurance solutions for weather and natural catastrophe risks
• You build and manage strong relationships with internal and external clients and partners
• You initiate and support business generation through Zurich country organizations, partners, and the open reinsurance market
• You work collaboratively as part of the team to manage our global parametric portfolio
• You co-create innovative parametric insurance products in partnership with clients and partners

What you bring

• University degree in natural sciences or equivalent practical experience
• Underwriting experience, ideally with a focus on parametric insurance
• Enthusiasm for customer interaction; business development experience in insurance or reinsurance is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills; programming knowledge is a plus
• Fluent in German and English; Spanish is a plus
