Join our
Technics & Technology
team in Zurich. The team has a unique competence in Engineering Simulation and Data Analytics. The team develops methods and tools for application to real engineering problems, covering a variety of sectors, ranging from energy and processes to water and infrastructures, though environment. This competence unit is seeking to hire a new person, with a dual profile: CFD and Data Analytics.

PROJECT ENGINEER FOR DATA ANALYTICS AND SIMULATION (F/M/D) 80-100% - ZURICH
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and execute simulation studies to assess the feasibility and performance of engineering systems and processes
Analyze, process, and interpret data from sensors, monitoring systems, and industrial IoT platforms
Apply machine learning algorithms to both real-world sensor data and synthetic simulation data
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to translate technical challenges into data-driven solutions
Support the development of digital engineering, analytics, and simulation workflows

YOUR PROFILE:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (preferably mechanical engineering) or applied mathematics
Additional advanced training in data science
Hands-on experience with industrial CFD software such as Star-CCM+, ANSYS Fluent, or OpenFOAM as well as with advanced data analytics platforms is a strong advantage
Capability to code in Python and knowledge of Azure cloud systems or interest to develop
Proficient in English with basic German language skills
