Start: ASAP
Duration: 3 months (high chance of an extension)
Workload: 100%
Location: Zurich
Requirements:
•
Own end-to-end PR to PO conversion, ensuring all requests are processed within defined SLAs
•
Ensure fast and accurate purchase order execution with a strong focus on “first time right”
•
Act as operational interface to suppliers, managing communication, order follow-ups and issue resolution
•
Monitor and actively manage order backlog, ensuring timely delivery and escalation where required
•
Drive process stability in day-to-day operations, ensuring consistent and reliable execution
•
Identify and implement process improvements in ordering, tracking and issue handling
•
Resolve operational issues (e.g. delivery delays, invoice mismatches) in collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders
•
Maintain and ensure data quality (e.g. master data) as basis for accurate order processing
•
Actively contribute to SAP hardware ordering initiatives and projects, supporting testing, implementation and operational readiness
Competences:
•
Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience in supply chain management or procurement
•
3–5 years relevant experience in operational procurement / purchase order management (SAP)
•
Strong experience in SAP PR to PO conversion and purchase order execution, with focus on SLA compliance
•
Hands-on experience in managing suppliers on an operational level
•
Proven ability to manage order backlog and ensure timely delivery
•
Strong execution mindset with high attention to detail
•
Expertise handling operational issues such as delivery delays, invoice mismatches, and order corrections
•
Fluent in English and good German language skills
•
Experience with Ariba, material master data, or telecommunications is a plus
