Our client Philip Morris is looking for a Quality Support Specialist through Manpower for a temporary assignment.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Provide a full Manufacturing Quality support and expertise for planning, execution, research, development of innovation and improvement projects while ensuring manufacturing line readiness for production execution in non-commercial environment.
Be responsible for product and process performances on shop floor, providing technical and analytical direction to solve quality issues related to In-line Control systems, Visual quality, at-line instrument management, Brand integrity and traceability and other Manufacturing processes.
Coordinate samples testing and schedule between Production and Laboratories to support the product and relevant data analyzes delivery on time.
Manage the retention samples while keeping appropriate inventory, storage and destruction of finished product samples.
Ensure the improvement and/or maintenance of Quality Management System (QMS) with related procedures and instructions in alignment with QMS Compliance and Central Quality functions.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:1.
Provide Manufacturing Quality support and expertise in order to improve product and process Quality performances within innovation and improvement projects during the all stages of development.
Support project team in identification of risks in Manufacturing area, provide solutions for risks elimination and/or control while ensuring full compliance to Quality requirements.
Provide the inputs to relevant Process and Area owners for corresponding systems and/or processes adjustments and improvements to ensure timely readiness for commercial production.2.
Coordinate the availability and testing of samples according to the sampling plan and the corresponding Control Strategy.
Perform laboratory analysis request using different systems (LIMS/ARMS/GOLD/PDIMS etc) and compile the results.
Execute and manage VQA Analysis for all stages of development.
Coordinate and ensure instruments for quality check calibration and readiness before and during testing/prototyping activities.
Manage the retention, the storage and destruction of finished product samples.
Keep the corresponding retention data base up to date.3.
Collaborate with relevant internal and external colleagues by applying risk based approach and effective information exchange to assess the control systems, processes and product performances and ensure Compliance with PMI requirements, standardization and continuous improvement during development stage.
Execute internal and external training to relevant PMI employees, as subject matter expert in Manufacturing Quality area and Product and Process control in order to drive and share excellence within PMI.
Guarantee proper knowledge transfer to commercial teams prior project closure.4.
Execute required actions as per defined project plan or support request, ensuring all assigned actions are maintained on schedule and within requirements.
Provide timely updates to the project / activity to owner.
Perform data analysis review in line with Company requirements.
Ensure that objectives and targets related to quality are defined and followed-up by project team or relevant stakeholders.
Present Quality related results in relevant stakeholders Projects review meetings.5.
Investigate in a timely manner non-conformities and deviation related to product and process performance during tests and prototyping and other innovative or improvement projects stages.
Provide the direction in decision making to quarantine the non-conforming material/products.
Liaise with concerned parties to find out the root cause and take relevant preventives/correctives actions.
Ensure a proper follow up and reporting of open actions and maintain the related database up to date.
Based on recommendation from concerned stakeholders, participate to the decision of releasing/destroying the non-conform products blocked due to quality issues and monitor the related costs.6.
Act as SME in development and qualification of new and/or improved in/on/at-line controls by coordinating first installation plan execution including relevant documentation, reporting and assessment.
Establishment of Quality documents and procedures supporting good manufacturing practices to be included in reference package.
Ensure capability establishment in pilot site to use, maintain and control the new developed controls in commercial environment.7.
Act as SME in establishment of Quality documents and procedures supporting good manufacturing practices and fulfilment of technical transfer package.
Provide general quality management system training and coordinate quality related training within the department.
Support QMS compliance department in ensuring QMS efficacy, adherence and compliance within the Quality department.8.
Carry out all of the activities ensuring that PMI Compliance Policies, Standards, and Laws relating to these activities are fully respected, integrated and understood by stakeholders, and implement adequate processes to ensure the protection of information of a confidential nature.
Promote and apply all rules concerning PMI Quality, Environment, Health and Safety.
Report all situations requiring actions to minimize or eliminate risks exposure to personnel, company assets and societal impacts and be in line with or ahead of any applicable Law requirements and Company standards.

Primary, Secondary, Flavor center, ect.)- Reference person for new comers and junior colleagues- Can act on behalf of direct supervisorSKILLS AND COMPETENCIES- Professional School (Mechanical area), College/University degree in Physical sciences, Manufacturing/Food Engineer or equivalent competencies through technical training and demonstrated experience.- 1-2 years experience in production, quality or relevant skills through demonstrated experience.- Local Language:
Fluent- English:
Intermediate- Knowledge of International standards (ISO).
Advanced knowledge on Manufacturing processes, Quality tools, root cause analysis, analytical skills, statistical tool knowledge.
Ability to transform data into information (reporting skills).
