R&D Engineer (Electronics / Mechatronics)
Description du poste
As an R&D Engineer at Cytosurge, you will be at the intersection of precision engineering and biotechnology.
Your Challenge
•
Advance the future of single-cell manipulation: Drive the continuous development and refinement of our state-of-the-art robotic systems and push the limits of what our FluidFM technology can achieve
•
Manage and advance electrical engineering developments
•
Partner with external scientific collaborators to shape our next-generation product
•
Work in a team with software engineers, automation and domain experts to develop outstanding solutions
•
Empower our internal innovators: Act as a technical catalyst across departments by designing and delivering top-notch, custom engineering solutions that simplify complex laboratory workflows and accelerate our internal R&D processes
Your Profile
•
Bachelor’s or higher degree in an Engineering discipline
•
Electrical engineering knowledge with proven ability to design, develop and debug circuits
•
At least 3-5 years of practical experience. Ideally related to laboratory equipment or similar fields
•
Solid understanding of digital control protocols such as SPI or I2C and related programming skills to implement them
•
Quick grasp, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain focus on complex problems
•
Ability and openness to work in multidisciplinary teams with a natural curiosity to learn about other scientific and engineering domains
•
Experience and knowledge in a regulatory environment is a plus (e.g. electrical safety, Low voltage directive, EMC, EN61010)
•
Production engineering or background in industrialization is a strong plus
•
Business fluency in English, German is an advantage
•
Competitive in table soccer
