For our headquarters in Baar, we are looking for a committed person

at Group level as soon as possible:

Regional Tax Director EMEA – 100%

Reporting to the Head Corporate Tax, you will be responsible for overseeing all direct and indirect tax matters across the EMEA region within our in-house environment. This role combines ownership of regional tax activities with contributions to global tax initiatives. It requires a hands-on, business-focused, and forward-looking approach, including driving the digitalization and modernization of the tax function in close collaboration with local finance teams.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Support and oversee operational transfer pricing, including execution, monitoring, and integration into business processes
  • Oversee tax accounting processes (IFRS/local GAAP), including tax provisioning and reporting, and ensure readiness for current and increasingly complex international tax requirements, including OECD Pillar Two
  • Ensure the practical implementation of tax policies and frameworks within the organization
  • Ensure robust and efficient tax compliance, in collaboration with local finance teams and external advisors
  • Drive the digitalization of tax processes, with a focus on automation, scalability, and efficiency
  • Support the implementation of VAT-related digital requirements, including e-invoicing and real-time reporting regimes across jurisdictions
  • Identify tax risks and ensure appropriate mitigation measures are embedded in business processes
  • Support business changes, reorganizations, and transactions from a practical tax perspective

The requirements for this position include a university degree preferably in law, economics, finance, or a related discipline, along with a professional tax qualification (such as tax advisor or equivalent). You should have at least 10 years of relevant experience within a comparable international company. A broad tax background is essential, including the ability to deep-dive into technical topics when required, as well as a strong interest in tax technology, process automation, and digital compliance solutions. You should also be able to translate complex technical tax requirements into practical, scalable business solutions.

We are looking for someone with strong stakeholder-management and communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage. You should bring excellent interpersonal and collaborative abilities, along with a hands-on, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset.
