Sales Engineer - Advanced Materials</h1> <p> <strong>
Mission</strong> </p> <p>
With your engineering background, you build from zero, through application-driven thinking, starting from novel materials and working with partners across long industrial cycles.
You act as a key contributor to the business development of the assigned markets with the objective of building strong and scalable B2B businesses.</p> <p>

Key Responsibilities</strong> </p> <ul> <li>
Sell advanced materials at customer application level</li> <li>
Develop assigned markets to drive sales growth</li> <li>
Identify, meet and develop new customers by positioning new differentiated solutions at customer application level.
Create account plans and close deals.</li> <li>
Build and close business cases from first technical discussion to industrial adoption</li> <li>
Develop, align and execute structured go-to plan-market plans in close collaboration with management and engineering</li> <li>
Ensure rigorous commercial execution (projects, pipeline, priorities, forecasts) and follow up on the defined actions</li> </ul> <p> <strong>
Profile</strong> </p> <ul> <li>
Engineering degree (EPFL or HES) in materials, electrical engineering, mechanical, or other engineering fields</li> <li>
At least 5 years of proven success in a similar commercial role with track records in international B2B technical business development/sales with a structured business development approach</li> <li>
Multi-market experience, e.g. in industrial applications, powder metallurgy, magnets, semiconductors, high power, electronics, motors design, resistance welding or EDM</li> <li>
Must have had experience selling solutions where the product is not yet standardized</li> <li>
Structured and execution-driven, able to manage multiple projects in parallel and drive initiatives through to results</li> <li>
Strong business mindset, able to understand technology and sell its value at customers at all levels, before closing the deals</li> <li>
Collaborative with a strong willingness to co-develop as team</li> <li>
Fluency in English is essential.
Proficiency in German and/or French, and/or Italian is a significant advantage</li> <li>
The Position is based on site in Villaz-St-Pierre (Switzerland), near Fribourg (30 minutes from Bern and Lausanne) with around 25% travel to customers worldwide</li> </ul> <p> <strong>
