Senior App Developer / Tech Lead Apps (f/m) 80-100%
Effective immediately or by arrangement, we are looking for an engaged and winning personality to join our Software Engineering Team in Zurich as:
Your tasks:

Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native or Flutter

Define and evolve scalable, robust, and maintainable mobile architectures (e.g. Clean Architecture, MVVM)

Take ownership of the overall app architecture and drive technical decisions with a long-term perspective

Ensure and continuously improve app performance (e.g. memory management, bundle size, animations)

Establish and promote high engineering standards, including testing strategies (unit & end-to-end) and code quality

Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and take responsibility for the full release cycle (Apple App Store & Google Play)

Lead technical initiatives end-to-end, from requirements to implementation and rollout

Translate product requirements into scalable technical solutions and actively shape the product from an engineering perspective

Mentor and support engineers through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing

Foster a strong engineering culture focused on ownership, pragmatism, and continuous improvement

Align technical decisions within the team and across adjacent teams to ensure a coherent app ecosystem

Work closely with Product, UX/UI, and Backend teams in a cross-functional setup to deliver outstanding user experiences
Your profile:

5+ years of experience in mobile application development, with strong expertise in React Native (TypeScript, React Hooks, state management) or Flutter (Dart, BLoC/Riverpod)

Solid understanding of the native iOS and Android ecosystems, including integrating native modules when needed

Proven experience designing scalable and maintainable mobile architectures and driving high coding standards

Strong hands-on experience in improving app performance (e.g. profiling, bundle size optimization, memory management)

Strong advocacy for quality with practical expertise in unit testing and end-to-end testing

Proficiency in building and managing mobile CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Fastlane, Gradle, GitHub Actions) and managing release cycles

Ability to lead technical initiatives, make architectural decisions and translate complex requirements into clear technical solutions

Expertise mentoring other developers and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team culture
