Our shared journey could take you anywhere...where would you like to go?The RoleIn this function you will play a key strategic role in bridging the gap between global critical environment customers (e.g. laboratories, clean rooms, pressurized rooms) and Siemens' building technologies offerings such as room automation equipment and services for these markets. This role involves evaluating customer strategic objectives and creating value propositions based on the Siemens portfolio or technology partners. The role requires an in-depth understanding of the market, customers and relevant technologies. You will collaborate with our technical products colleagues and sales professionals in our focus countries, converting market demand into tangible outcomes, such as portfolio offerings, and supporting sales enablement.We're looking for an experienced colleague who brings strategic thinking, execution competence and deep technical understanding to our team. This role does not require relocation.Your new responsibilitiesDrive strategic business development initiatives, solution standardization, portfolio development, and requirements management based on evolving market demandLead stakeholder collaboration and regional consulting: Coordinate cross-functional teams and support regional sales in executing go-to-market plans aligned with the business strategyDrive go-to-market strategies: Define vertical offerings, value propositions, and support launch activities in our focus countriesEnsure technical compliance with relevant standards and push for differentiation in the marketDevelop training and certification programs in collaboration with our Training Academy and Partner Management teamFurther develop our global partner network to allow for scalable growth through market-ready standardized solutionsSupport globally pre-sales activities and validate solution offerings for critical environmentsEnable and support sales teams by providing experienced application knowledgeYour skills and experienceMaster's degree or equivalent in engineering or business-related areaA minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the building automation industry with a strong focus on life cycle services for critical environmentsProfound understanding of critical environments (e.g. laboratories, clean rooms, pressurized rooms) and relevant regulatory frameworks such as Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)Deep market insight, with the ability to evaluate customer strategic objectives and translate them into compelling value propositionsDemonstrated experience in defining and executing go-to-market strategies and sales initiativesStrong critical thinking combined with ability to translate market demand into actionable business development initiatives, solution standardization, and portfolio developmentExceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and influence distributed, cross-functional, and international teamsExperience in defining and developing standardized solutions and creating robust reference architecturesExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English.
