What you’ll do
Join CERN’s Superconducting Radiofrequency (SRF) team and help design next-generation cryomodules for future particle accelerators, including the FCC-ee project, and you will work in a multidisciplinary environment developing advanced cryogenic and radiofrequency systems at the forefront of accelerator technology.
Your responsibilities
•
Participate, and gradually take up a lead role, in the cryomodule design and integration of the SRF cavities and associated systems, as well as the assembly processes, in clean-room and outside clean-room, and associated special tooling.
•
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams at CERN and partner laboratories.
•
Take up lead of the cryogenic engineering activities, including thermal performance and safety considerations.
•
Ensure mechanical designs meet applicable safety and regulatory requirements, in particular for pressure vessels.

Experience with CAD tools (e.g. CATIA, Inventor, SolidWorks) and FEA software is required.
