Teacher of Music
Founded in 1961, Geneva English School is a high-quality, innovative private school built on the strong foundations of the British Education system, providing structure and challenge at Primary level, and choice and opportunity at Secondary level.

Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging music lessons to students across various age groups on our Primary and Secondary campuses in Genthod and Versoix, respectively.
Inspire and motivate students to develop their musical skills and appreciation.
Organise and lead school concerts, performances, and musical events.
Provide individual and group support to students to enhance their musical abilities.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music into the broader curriculum.
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters creativity and learning.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
QualificationsA degree in Music, with a teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
Experience teaching music to children and teenagers, and proven success in achieving excellent results at GCSE and A Level (in the English National Curriculum).
Strong knowledge of music theory, performance, and a variety of musical styles.
Ability to play and teach at least one musical instrument to a high standard.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English; knowledge of French is an advantage.
