Technical Manager - Industrialization

Responsibilities

Mission: to lead the Industrial Engineering department and drive industrialization, optimization and continuous improvement of manufacturing and assembly processes.

In particular:

• Lead and develop the Industrial Engineering team, ensuring effective allocation of resources, skills and priorities
• Manage the industrialization of new and existing products, from process design and validation to production ramp-up
• Design and optimize manufacturing and assembly processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness, safety and sustainability
• Oversee the specification, procurement, installation and qualification of production equipment, tooling and measurement systems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in cooperation with Production, Quality and R&D, focusing on process optimization, cost and waste reduction
• Support production line relocation, modernization and investment projects
• Manage departmental CAPEX/OPEX budgets and contribute to supplier and investment evaluations
• Manage process-related non-conformities and engineering changes in collaboration with Quality and R&D
• Monitor departmental KPIs and ensure alignment with corporate standards, culture and objectives
• Promote innovation, collaboration, accountability and continuous development within the team

Profile

• MSc in Industrial Engineering or equivalent technical education
• Strong experience in manufacturing and assembly technologies, industrialization, process design and optimization, continuous improvement and project management
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience within a technical or industrial environment, preferably in a structured international company
• Proven people management skills and hands-on experience in industrial process development and optimization
• Experience in mechanics, mechatronics, robotics or miniature electro-mechanical devices is highly valued
• Strong leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills, combined with a pragmatic and results-oriented approach
• Ability to operate effectively in a complex, fast-paced and international environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• English and Italian fluent
• German is an advantage
