Stellenbeschreibung
For our client, an established supplier to the Swiss watch industry, we are looking for an experienced Technical Sales Manager – Watch Components (m/f/d). In this key position, you will manage customer relationships in Switzerland and coordinate technical and commercial requirements with international manufacturing teams. Your focus will be on watch bracelets, dials, hands and other precision components, from initial development through to series production.
Responsibilities
- Development and management of relationships with existing and prospective customers in the Swiss watch industry
- Analysis of aesthetic, technical and commercial requirements relating to materials, dimensions, finishes, tolerances, quality, pricing and delivery dates
- Translation of drawings, samples and customer specifications into clear and practical manufacturing instructions
- Coordination of quotations, prototypes, samples, development projects and production orders
- Monitoring of production progress, quality standards and delivery schedules, including the coordination of corrective measures
- Close cooperation with international production teams, including approximately six to eight business trips to India per year
Profile
- Substantial professional experience in the watch-component industry, particularly with watch dials and/or watch hands
- Sound technical understanding of component development, manufacturing processes and quality requirements
- Proven experience in technical sales, customer management and coordination between customers and production teams
- Good professional command of English and the ability to explain complex technical requirements clearly and accurately
- Familiarity with Swiss watch-industry standards and the ability to collaborate effectively within an intercultural environment
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style, combined with attention to detail and willingness to travel regularly
