Job description:
As Test Manager, you will plan, coordinate and oversee all testing activities for a major digital programme. You will ensure that end-to-end business processes, integrated applications and system interfaces are comprehensively tested and meet the required quality standards before go-live.
Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing the overall test strategy, methodology, governance model and quality standards
Preparing and maintaining the Master Test Plan, including phases, milestones, schedules and resource planning
Managing the complete testing lifecycle, including SIT, E2E, UAT, regression and smoke testing
Planning end-to-end test scenarios and ensuring coverage of business-critical workflows
Coordinating testing activities and resources across multiple business units and delivery teams
Defining and monitoring test entry and exit criteria
Managing dependencies between systems, teams, testing environments and deployment schedules
Coordinating test environments, change freezes and testing windows
Defining and managing the defect-management process
Prioritising and tracking defects and coordinating their resolution with development teams
Analysing defect trends, quality metrics and testing risks
Establishing testing dashboards and KPIs
Reporting progress, risks, test coverage and defect status to Programme Management and the Steering Committee
Providing objective input for Go/No-Go decisions
Facilitating test-status meetings and escalating blockers or delays
Producing key deliverables such as the Test Strategy, Master Test Plan, Test Schedule, Test Case Catalogue, Defect Log, Risk Log and Test Closure Report

Experience with digital media, streaming or broadcasting platforms
Experience coordinating user-migration testing
Previous involvement in large-scale, cross-organisational transformation programmes
About the customer:
Our client is a large Swiss organisation delivering digital services across several business units. The company is currently implementing a complex, organisation-wide digital programme involving multiple platforms, system interfaces and internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
Proven professional experience as a Test Manager within complex, multi-system programmes
Strong knowledge of SIT, end-to-end testing, UAT, regression testing and smoke testing
Experience developing test strategies, master test plans and testing governance frameworks
Strong test planning, resource coordination and dependency-management capabilities
Solid experience managing defects, quality metrics, testing risks and reporting
Ability to coordinate multiple business units, delivery teams and technical stakeholders
Experience working with integrated applications, system interfaces and business-critical processes
Strong stakeholder-management, communication and escalation skills
Ability to provide clear input into Go/No-Go readiness decisions
Fluent written and spoken English
Availability to start as soon as possible
Availability for a workload of at least 80%
Willingness to work onsite one to two days per week, alternating between Zurich and Geneva, with possible travel to Lausanne
