Due to our company’s continued growth and expansion, and to reinforce our Medical Information and Safety department, we are recruiting a professional for the position as Lead of Medical Scientific Information, International 100% Job Description Maintain a database of global medical scientific publications to ensure company-wide awareness of publications related to STAAR surgical products, and to ensure cross-functional access to contemporary and historical publications. Generate medical scientific summaries, presentations, scientific compendia, training content, website content, and information to ensure pre- and post-launch preparedness supporting the Professional Education, Marketing, Clinical and R&D, Commercial teams. Lead the identification of trends and insights from medical scientific publications, and scientific presentations at conferences/company sponsored events, and ensure timely communication with stakeholders. Support PMS activities (Scientific papers/Congress presentations). Respond to medical scientific information enquiries from customers (evidence-based, consistent and compliant), documenting, tracking and reporting of the activity. Serves as Medical Reviewer in the Medical, Legal and Regulatory (MLR) process, ensuring that materials (mainly HCP-facing content) support evidence-based communication and comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. The position is based in Switzerland and requires travelling of 30%. Your profile Optometrist with post-graduate degrees (master’s in clinical optometry/Ophthalmology, Visual Sciences, Biostatistics, PhD, etc). Clinical practice of optometry at least 1-3 years of practice within ophthalmology fields (surgical refractive / cataract) or demonstrated exposure to research in the field of Ophthalmology/Optics/Optometry. Proficient in English (verbal and written) and in one other additional language (Spanish, French, or German). Proficient in Microsoft Office. Excellent communication skills to adapt to different individuals at all levels.
