    "description": "Our company is further expanding by ramping up a brand-new manufacturing site located in Nidau, Canton of Bern, Switzerland. Due to our company’s continued growth and expansion, and to reinforce our Medical Information and Safety department, we are recruiting a professional for the position as   Lead of Medical Scientific Information, International 100%     Job Description   Maintain a database of global medical scientific publications to ensure company-wide awareness of publications related to STAAR surgical products, and to ensure cross-functional access to contemporary and historical publications. Generate medical scientific summaries, presentations, scientific compendia, training content, website content, and information to ensure pre- and post-launch preparedness supporting the Professional Education, Marketing, Clinical and R&D, Commercial teams. Lead the identification of trends and insights from medical scientific publications, and scientific presentations at conferences/company sponsored events, and ensure timely communication with stakeholders. Support PMS activities (Scientific papers/Congress presentations). Respond to medical scientific information enquiries from customers (evidence-based, consistent and compliant), documenting, tracking and reporting of the activity. Serves as Medical Reviewer in the Medical, Legal and Regulatory (MLR) process, ensuring that materials (mainly HCP-facing content) support evidence-based communication and comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. The position is based in Switzerland and requires travelling of 30%.   Your profile   Optometrist with post-graduate degrees (master’s in clinical optometry/Ophthalmology, Visual Sciences, Biostatistics, PhD, etc). Clinical practice of optometry at least 1-3 years of practice within ophthalmology fields (surgical refractive / cataract) or demonstrated exposure to research in the field of Ophthalmology/Optics/Optometry. Proficient in English (verbal and written) and in one other additional language (Spanish, French, or German). Proficient in Microsoft Office.
