We do not accept Cvs. To apply please go to\nPersonal Assistant (CHEG26-006937) - FCDO\n.\nPersonal Assistant (CHEG26-006937)\nRoles and responsibilities:\n•\nManaging both Ambassadors’ schedules and providing logistical support, including organising meetings, travel and events;\n•\nLeading on the Ambassadors’ overseas visit programmes, collaborating with Desks and Posts across the FCDO network, and with relevant multilateral organisations (e.g. Global Fund, Gavi) to establish programmes and a communication strategy aligned with UK priorities;\n•\nRepresenting the offices of the Ambassadors and providing an effective channel of communication by engaging with senior stakeholders, Ministerial offices, UN and multilateral agencies, and government officials, conveying clear messages to and on behalf of the Ambassadors;\n•\nCommissioning and coordinating briefing in preparation for meetings with international stakeholders;\n•\nSupporting the management of the Ambassadors’ social media content, and occasionally providing support to the communications team when required;\n•\nAssisting with logistics and administrative support for the wider Economic and Health teams, where necessary;\n•\nOrganising events, including official lunches and dinners, and incoming visits, welcoming visitors to the Mission, in coordination with the Visits & Events team;\n•\nManagement and oversight of the Ambassadors’ budgets;\n•\nManaging information, including record keeping, file management, maintaining contact databases and updating planning documents;\n•\nContributing as part of a wider team, including providing cover for senior members of the UK Mission such as the Permanent Representative to the UN and WTO.\nOur Ideal Candidate shows:\n•\nProficiency in English, both written and spoken, minimum of C1 level according to the CEFR framework*, or equivalent;\n•\nMinimum of 2 years of relevant professional parcours professionnel in managing complex diaries with competing priorities, ideally supporting senior stakeholders;\n•\nStrong written communication skills, including drafting clear and concise correspondence or briefing material;\n•\nExcellent organisational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail;\n•\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels;\n•\nFlexible, resilient under pressure, with a proven track record of delivering results to a high standard, within tight deadlines;\n•\nFamiliarity with working on social media platforms and experience in producing creative content;\n•\nExcellent IT skills (Microsoft Office Word, Outlook).\nNice to have:\n•\nExpertise supporting senior leadership (e.g. in a Private Office or similar environment);\n•\nWorking knowledge of French;\n•\nParcours professionnel working in/with government or international organisations;\n•\nExperience working in a multilateral environment.\nOther benefits and conditions of employment\nAll applicants should have permission to live and work in Switzerland.\nApplicants that have the right to live and work in Geneva and don’t require a visa sponsorship are: Nationals from United Kingdom, European Union and EFTA, along with Nationals of: Brunei Darussalam, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Principality of Andorra, Principality of Monaco, San Marino, Singapore and Vatican – these applicants are eligible to live and work in Switzerland as long as holding a full passport valid for at least 12 months.\nAll other applicants need to have permission to live and work in Switzerland.\nLearning & Development: The UK Mission Geneva places a strong emphasis on learning and development, and pro",
