This position, based in our Headquarters in Prilly and part of the Legal Department and reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel, is essentially dedicated to providing expert data privacy support service to the Head of Data Protection & Privacy / Data Protection Officer.
ROLE
Serve as the primary data privacy support specialist for the Head of Data Protection & Privacy / Data Protection Officer, fostering a close and effective working relationship to manage data privacy initiatives across the organization.
In support of the Head of Data Protection & Privacy / Data Protection Officer and in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, conduct and analyze privacy and data protection assessments for projects, SICPA solutions, and processes involving personal data to ensure adherence to data protection & privacy requirements.
Assist the Head of Data Protection & Privacy / Data Protection Officer by ensuring (i) the continued application of Privacy by Design principles across software, process and architecture Design; and (ii) the compliance with Privacy by Default rules for the business development of SICPA solutions and internal projects.
Following the training priorities defined by the Head of Data Protection& Privacy / Data Protection Officer, contribute to promote personal data protection and privacy in Switzerland and overseas.
Assist the Head of Data Protection & Privacy / Data Protection Officer in the management of Data Protection risks related to the third parties.
Coordinate tasks required by our global SICPA trust Intelligence Platform that covers data protection & privacy requirements to connect data, teams, and processes.
Assist the Head of Data Protection & Privacy / Data Protection Officer in the management of the day-to-day operations of Data Subject Access Requests and in maintaining and updating SICPA’s records of processing activities.
Assist the Head of Data Protection & Privacy / Data Protection Officer to ensure the alignment between the Data Processing Agreements and our specific data protection & privacy provisions in commercial contracts.
Provide ad hoc support on legal and privacy-related matters as required.
PROFILE
Master's level qualification, ideally with a focus in Law, Information Security, or related fields.
Proven experience and knowledge in data protection, cybersecurity, privacy and information security.
IT knowledge or extended knowledge, strong interest for the new technology landscape
Ability to review and analyze data privacy provisions in agreements and Data Processing Agreements.
Intellectually agile, keen to learn with excellent writing and analytical skills.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Motivated and able to work autonomously.
Very strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in both English and French.
