About the Role and Your Responsibilities
Are you a specialist in low?voltage circuit breakers and looking to apply your skills in Western Switzerland? As a Field Service Technician at ABB, you will perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on modern circuit breakers, ensuring the reliable operation of our customers’ critical infrastructure. You work directly on-site and build long-term customer relationships.

Your Main Responsibilities

Maintenance & Inspection: Perform maintenance, inspection, and repair work on low-voltage circuit breakers.

Fault Analysis & Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues and resolve equipment failures.

Customer Interaction: Advise and communicate with customers on-site, prepare documentation and reports.

Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with the highest quality and safety standards.

Documentation: Create service reports and technical documents.

Teamwork: Collaborate with internal teams and share best practices.

Customer Support: Analyze customer needs and identify business opportunities
Your Profile

Completed training as an electrician, electrical installer, or equivalent qualification.

Several years of experience in maintenance and servicing of circuit breakers, with solid knowledge of low-voltage technology and electrical engineering.

Fluent in French; good English skills; German is an advantage.

Category B driver’s license and willingness to travel within Western Switzerland.

Self-motivated, structured, and solution-oriented working style, combined with teamwork and effective communication skills.

Experience in customer consulting and building customer relationships.

Knowledge in preventing and optimizing system failures.

Considered as an advantage:

Extensive experience with ABB circuit breakers, especially: Emax 2.2 – 2.6, Emax X1, New Emax, T?Max series.

Certifications and training on ABB products.
