The Hospitality Business School Operations department ensures the seamless delivery of academic and student services across all programs. The department develops high-standard services and learning solutions to foster student growth and career progression. Its mission is to optimize processes, resources, and support systems to enhance the learner experience. The department collaborates with faculty and service units to maintain operational excellence and quality standards. It drives initiatives that align with institutional goals, fostering efficiency and innovation.

Head of Career, Learning and Development
The perimetre of the Head of Career, Learning and Development is to lead internship, coaching, career advisory, and leadership programs across all academic levels. This role ensures high-quality services that foster student growth and career progression, while partnering with HBS Operations to implement initiatives that extend support beyond academics.
What will you do?

Oversee and continuously evolve Career Development Services to meet diverse learner needs, ensuring job placement support and long-term career advancement.

Lead the Career, Learning and Development Department, defining its strategy, service portfolio, and operational excellence.

Build strategic partnerships and networks by collaborating with internal stakeholders and developing a pool of coaches and facilitators to enhance learner engagement.

Design and deliver impactful learning experiences and workshops that foster personal, professional, and leadership growth across all academic levels, aligned with institutional competencies.

Manage Coaching & Learning Services, Internship programs, and Career Advisory functions, while organizing events to strengthen student networks and career visibility.

Drive departmental growth and innovation, overseeing budgets and expanding learning solutions for mentorship, leadership development, and student success initiatives.
Who you are?

You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Hospitality, Education, Psychology, or a related field

You have at least 8 years in a similar position with management responsibilities.

You have strong leadership, stakeholder management, and operational skills, with proven ability to manage conflicts and make quick decisions.

You have excellent networking and communication abilities, and thrive in international, multicultural environments while remaining calm in crisis situations.

You are a certified coach with expertise in career services and advisory, professional transitions and leadership development for a mature audience.

You have proficiency in digital tools and recruitment techniques.

You have solid knowledge of the hospitality industry, experience in career services or talent placement.

You are fluent in English and French (C1).
