Nouvelle opportunite : MCAD Product Owner chez BOBST MEX SA (Lausanne).

BOBST is looking for its group MCAD Product Owner.
At
BOBST
, you will play a central role in enhancing the MCAD environments and methodologies used across our engineering teams.
As an
MCAD Product Owner
, you will be responsible not only for our core solutions such as
CATIA
and the
3DEXPERIENCE platform
, but also for other ad‑hoc tools and applications used within the group.
Your perimetre is to define the vision, structure the roadmap, and lead the continuous improvement of this ecosystem to ensure smoother, more coherent, and business‑aligned design processes
You will collaborate closely with Engineering, PLM, IT, and Manufacturing to ensure seamless integration and strong user adoption.

Product Ownership & Vision

Define and own the
product vision and roadmap
for MCAD capabilities.

Build, prioritize, and manage the
product backlog
based on business value and engineering needs.

Drive the adoption of
MCAD best practices
, modeling standards, configuration management principles, and design workflows.
Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with mechanical engineering teams, including local key users, to understand pain points and translate them into actionable user stories.

Collaborate with PLM, IT, and downstream functions (Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Simulation, Quality) to ensure alignment and data continuity.

Communicate updates, decisions, changes, and expectations clearly across the organization.
Implementation & Continuous Improvement

Lead or support enhancements, upgrades, and new functionalities across CATIA, 3DEXPERIENCE, and related tools—particularly within the
BOBST Transformation Program
.

Evaluate new releases, perform impact analyses, execute central testing, and coordinate validation with key users.

Monitor platform performance and user feedback to drive ongoing optimization.

Support training materials, workshops, and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
Business travel:
up to 50% of your time: 4-5 days per months on short term trips in Europe and regular 1 to 2 weeks trips to our entities (eg: Asia).
Your profile
Education & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, CAD, or a related field.

Demonstrated experience as a
Product Owner
, Business Analyst, or similar role in a
PLM/MCAD environment
.

Experience in business Configure to Order Industry (CTO).
Technical Skills

Proven experience with
CATIA V5 and/or V6
.

Strong familiarity with the
3DEXPERIENCE platform (3DX)
.

Solid understanding of mechanical design processes, CAD methodologies, and PLM principles.

Ability to work in agile frameworks and write clear, structured user stories.
Preferred Qualifications

Background configuring or administering 3DX roles/modules (Part Design, Assembly Design, Engineering Release, Collaborative Lifecycle).

Knowledge of downstream domains such as manufacturing engineering, FEA, or systems engineering.

Certifications (CSPO, PSPO) or PLM/CATIA‑related training.
