Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to successful project results in technology, software, product, and/or solution development, as well as associated Intellectual Property (IP). Each day, you will act as the first point of contact in Research and Development for specific product-related issues and maintenance. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative solutions.
The work model for the role is: hybrid.
This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power globally. Main stakeholders are R&D, Service, Sales Teams, and Customers.
You will be mainly accountable for:

Maintaining recognized expertise in a specific area by integrating the latest developments in technologies, tools, and methodologies into your work.

Finding new ways of solving problems by following your ideas, creating hypotheses, and defining ways to validate them.

Documenting work results (like findings, designs, or software), allowing others to maintain and improve them.

Understanding and initiating IP generation in your area of specialization and participating in the project IP strategy development.

Qualifications for the role

You are highly skilled and passionate in modeling and simulating electrical distribution networks, both in AC and DC, including Power Converters, Circuit Breakers, Fuses, etc.

You have 5+ years of experience in Selectivity Analysis, Load Flows and Transients Analysis & Optimizations

Experience in working as Senior Power Systems Architect with Computer-Aided Engineering tools

You are qualified in MATLAB - Simulink, PSCAD, PowerFactory, PSS®E, EMTP-ATP, etc.

Proven experience in Electrical Engineering (Power Electronic Systems)

You are at ease communicating in English (Italian language considered as a plus)
