Nouvelle opportunite : Student Counsellor chez SHMS Swiss Hotel Management School SA (Caux).
Objectives
: Ensure that staff and students evolve in a safe and secure environment by providing them with all necessary assistance towards health and sicknesses. React accurately in any situation that could endanger the health of a person within the school premises.
Duties and Responsibilities
Student care
:
•
Take students to doctor/hospital/dentist if necessary.
•
To organize medical or dental appointments.
•
To organize transportation of sick students to medical offices/Hospitals in collaboration with Residence Supervisors if needed.
•
Provide counselling to students and staff.
•
Provide meals in bedrooms for sick students in collaboration with Residence Supervisors, if needed.
Communication
:
•
To maintain a network of medical addresses with English speaking partners
•
To collaborate with the enrolment department during the application process
•
To inform concerned department about unusual students medical state
•
Act as a school Mediator
•
Contact person for local doctors and pharmacies
•
To inform Program Leaders and relevant staff members about students special medical absence
•
Provide a list of students required assistance during the Student Counsellor’s absence to the Residence Management Team
•
Provide Health/religious/special diet information to the F&B team.
•
Maintain accurate list of medical partners as well as list of medication and their recommended usage
•
Organize prevention evening and information sessions with the Police
•
Plan and organise brief 1st Aid training sessions for new staff members when requested
Controlling
:
•
Ensure sufficient stock of medicines in the Student Counsellor’s office
•
Control stock of medication, as well as expiring dates, available in the Sports, Reception, Kitchen and Service 1st Aid Pharmacy
•
To check and approve overall invoices related to student counselling.
•
Conduct random drug tests upon Residence manager's demand in compliance with school rules & regulations
