Our technologies stand out for their cost-efficiency, scalability, and compatibility with renewable energy sources, contributing to the transition toward a zero-emission energy system.Job OverviewWe are looking for a Business Development Engineer to join our team and support the commercialization of NovaMea’s innovative AEM technologies and electrolyzer solutions. This role is essential for strengthening relationships with key clients and partners, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding NovaMea’s presence in the global green hydrogen and energy storage markets.The position bridges technical development and commercial activities and requires a hands-on and entrepreneurial mindset. The successful candidate will manage the full business development cycle, from lead generation and customer acquisition to proposal preparation, contract follow-up, and coordination of delivery and logistics, ensuring that NovaMea’s solutions meet customer needs and market trends while supporting sales, marketing, and commercial operations.Position Conditions80–100%; permanent position.Work LocationSaint-Sulpice (VD); on site with regular international business travel.Start DateJune 1st, 2026, or as agreed.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute strategies to promote NovaMea’s AEM technologies and electrolyzer solutions in domestic and international marketsIdentify, develop, and secure new business opportunities and strategic partnershipsBuild and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholdersManage the full commercial cycle from lead generation to contract closing and delivery coordinationTranslate technical features of products into clear and compelling value propositions for customersSupport sales and marketing activities, including lead generation, customer follow-up, and preparation of marketing materialsPrepare quotations, commercial offers, and proposals, and follow up with clientsCoordinate internally to support order execution, shipping, and delivery of products and materialsWork closely with the R&D team to align product development with market needs and customer feedbackRepresent NovaMea at industry events, trade fairs, conferences, and customer meetings worldwideMonitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to guide business strategyThe list of tasks and responsibilities mentioned in this document is indicative. Other tasks and responsibilities may be assigned following discussion.Qualifications and SkillsIdeally a PhD in electrochemistry related to water electrolysis or CO₂ reduction.
